Go-Stop is a traditional Korean card game that every Korean household knows. From the bright red cards and the sharp smack when someone throws one down, to playing on top of a floral blanket. it’s a game full of sound, energy, and nostalgia.

I designed this Go-Stop card case as a tribute to those memories, incorporating traditional Korean patterns all around the piece. On top, I placed the national flower of Korea, the mugunghwa (무궁화) a type of Hibiscus. When you lift the top off, it even transforms into a pendant blending tradition, craftsmanship, and a touch of playfulness into one design.
